Robin Hood Primary School made £1,178 last year from running their own school lottery.

Kay Milson, PTA Chair, Wakefield, West Yorkshire (401 pupils) told us: 'We set up with Your School Lottery two years ago, and since then we’ve raised £2,400 – with £1,178 in the 2015/16 academic year. Before signing up, parental engagement was pretty poor and we only had six core helpers on the PTA. We decided to look for an innovative, simple and low-input way to raise funds, and Your School lottery fitted the bill perfectly!

The whole process is extremely simple to set up, market and manage. Your School Lottery provides marketing materials, submits the quarterly return to the council, and supplies a fortnightly update showing the number of supporters and funds raised. Our profits are transferred directly into the PTA bank account, so there is very little work for us to do.

Signing up takes minutes and the support given by the team at Your School Lottery is second to none. The money we’ve raised is currently being put towards a revamp of our playground, and I am sure that we wouldn’t be in a position to proceed with this without Your School Lottery’s contribution. I have no hesitation in recommending them to any school!'
